Social enterprise for housing associations

Housing Associations have a unique opportunity to facilitate social enterprise. They can do this as part of their existing work - in creating training programmes in household maintenance for people who are in some way socially excluded or disadvantaged. Housing Associations can also facilitate social enterprise as part of their wider community and regeneration roles for example, in supporting community credit unions. We have worked with a number of housing associations to help them develop social enterprise strategies that will maximise the social benefits they deliver. We can also advise on specific aspects of setting up such projects such as funding, operations and integration with ongoing activities.
